WHO IS
LANG DULAY?

T'boli
1928 - 2015

Lang dulay is a Tboli textile weaver from Lake Sebu, South Cotabato. She uses fine abaca fibers as a weaving material that produces Tnalak or Tboli cloth.

She knows a hundred of designs like the bilinglangit, bankiring, and kabingi, each with a story to tell.

She was only 12 when she learned how to weave and throughout her life weaving, she dreamt that she could pass her talent to the young in her community. Her textiles reflect the wisdom and the visions of her people.
